Anti-Acne
Cream
Works great for hormonal acne too!
Most people see really good results with our various Acne
scrubs. In fact, most tell us they are practically acne free. 'Practically' for us, just isn't good enough. We want you clear all the time. We do have several spot treatments, in one- or
two-ounce jars, we wanted a four-ounce jar product that could be used all over in
a thin layer that was unique. We believe this will be a good compliment to our
acne scrubs. Or it can be used by itself. Keep in mind, as your skin heals it would
be good to exfoliate.
Why another Acne product? Acne is an ever-shifting problem that requires
varying the products that are used to control it. For those seeing really good
results it might be good to occasionally rotate new products in to (sort of)
keep the bad bacteria responsible for acne guessing (so to speak). Bacteria
can become immune to or resistant to certain ingredients.
When we looked at herbs we have never used before for
acne, three kept coming up. 2 of them are Ayurvedic and one is a kitchen spice.
Plus DIM.
Active ingredients:
DIM for hormonal acne. An herbal wonder. Diindolylmethane
is a compound found in cruciferous vegetables including broccoli, cabbage, and
cauliflower. Laboratory studies suggest anti-inflammatory and anticancer
effects.
Plant derived: Diindolylmethane(Dim), Diindolylmethane is a
metabolite of indole-3-barbinol (13C) found in cruciferous vegetables including
broccoli, cabbage, and cauliflower. Of course, one would think you could get
enough of this just by eating plenty of these veggies. One would be wrong. DIM
might just be the key to healthy skin. Rather than extract into water, DIM must
be extracted into oil. We use Hazel nut oil for this since it is one of the two
fastest absorbing oils in all of the plant kingdom.
CBG for Inflammation, a tiny constituent of the Hemp
plant. No THC
Bakuchiol, has anti-acne properties just like Retinol
without the annoying side effects.
Anti-Acne Herbs:
We extract these three herbs into Reverse Osmosis
Purified Water.
Anantamul, Hemidesmus indicus - A Pitta-Balancing
herb That Supports Proper Function of The 2
Basil Leaves, This green herb is a far better
astringent than alcohol (or benzoyl peroxide), according to the experts. "[Basil] helps to pull things from the skin and acts as an
antiseptic," "It'll help with any inflammation that's commonly
associated with acneic skin and helps to regulate oil production”.
Majistha Research
indicates that manjistha herb can inhibit Propionibacterium acnes, a bacterium
that plays a crucial role in the pathogenesis of acne. This bacterium functions
as a trigger for oxidative stress that leads to acne inflammation. Manjistha
herb is also known for its potent anti-inflammatory properties. It has been
found to affect two significant inflammatory mediators in the pathogenesis of
acne. It suppresses the free radicals induced by Propionibacterium acnes,
leading to inflammation. But that’s not all. It has also been found to suppress
pro-inflammatory cytokines, which are proteins that play an essential role in
the immune system.
