This stuff is AMAZING!! I can't get enough!! It has noticably lightened scar marks ... Which I have a lot of. I couldn't believe how quickly I started seeing results...I honestly saw a difference on one of my scars the next morning after applying before bed...I couldn't believe it so I thought I was just imagining it but it really has lightened them!! The smell is lovely, to me, it smells like peppermint and it has a nice cooling tingle when first applied. I always look forward to using this! In general, it's safe to assume that something that seems like a cure-all will probably end up acting more more like a "cure nothing." But in the skin care world, there's one buzzy ingredient that seems to help with just enough different types of concerns to be legit: niacinamide, a form of vitamin B3. At the 2019 American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) conference earlier this spring— an annual event where experts in skin care get together to talk about the biggest new trends, treatments, and procedures in the industry — niacinamide was a hot topic of conversation, with several brands releasing new products that contain the vitamin.
As several dermatologists mentioned at the event, the main draw to the ingredient is the wide variety of skin concerns it treats, as well as its low level of risk for negative patient reactions. "Niacinamide is a key ingredient to treat age-related skin changes, acne, and skin discoloration," board certified-dermatologist Dr. Jeffrey Hsu, MD, tells Bustle. "It naturally calms the skin and provides dramatic skin brightening for a wide variety of skin types." Board-certified dermatologist Dr. Meghan Feely, MD, FAAD, seconds these claims, adding that "topical or oral niacinamide has been used to treat inflammatory skin conditions like acne vulgaris."

Ingredients:
B3 (Nicotinamide), B3 helps impart a more even-looking skin tone. Extended exposure to sun light is a main reason for hyperpigmentation(discolorations). Melanocytes in deeper skin layers produce melanosomes that contain the pigment melanin. These are then released to keratinocytes that move upwards to the upper epidermis. Niacinamide does not inhibit the production of melanin but it was shown in 2002 that niacinamide inhibits the transfer of the melanosomes to the surrounding keratinocytes by up to 68%. The scientists used a keratinocyte/ melanocyte co-culture model. A clinical trial with volunteers confirmed the skin lightening activity. They had applied a skin cream with 5% niacinamide for 8 weeks. Age spots around the eye and cheek were significantly reduced.

hi! 🙂 so I have a little story with a huge problem. So I ordered a few things about a month ago including the herbal whitening cream. I had asked for just a sample of it but you guys gave me a full container which blew my mind!!!!!! I fell so in love with it cause it worked AMAZING! Due to the amazingness of it, I wanted to make sure I hid it really good from my siblings this one day that I wasn’t going to be home all day.( they tend to go through my stuff sometimes -.-) So I DID hide it really good! But SO good, that I forgot where I hid it :'( I’ve been looking everywhere for 2 weeks now and I still can’t find it. I think the B3 is working. I am using the cream on my hand as well as my face and monitoring my hand. I don’t expect my spots to disappear in only a month, but I do think they’re a little bit lighter. Nina
