We get
constantly asked about having a Vitamin C serum. We started investigating
different forms of Vitamin C (there are 9). Most do not absorb very well into
the skin. We did find one that has a high absorption rate: Ethyl Ascorbic Acid.
It’s more of an exotic ingredient not many manufacturers use. At $150 a pound,
no wonder.
Ethyl
Ascorbic Acid is a
stable Vitamin C derivative known for its potent antioxidant properties, skin
brightening effects, and collagen synthesis support. Unlike traditional Vitamin
C, it offers higher stability, maintaining potency over time, and easy
integration into aqueous formulations. This ingredient effectively reduces
hyperpigmentation, evens out skin tone, and promotes collagen production for
