CBG for Nerve Pain

and Inflammation

CBG is an even more

powerful extract of the

Hemp Plant, in many ways, than CBD.

What is CBG?

Cannabigerol (CBG) is one of more than 100 cannabinoids that naturally occur in the Hemp plant. The Hemp Plant is a relative of the Marijuana. It contains very little THC, which is what causes you to get high.

Unlike CBD and THC, CBG is a minor cannabinoid, meaning it’s only found in very small amounts in the cannabis plant. About 1% versus CBD at 6%. Therefore, it is about 50% more expensive.

Like CBD, CBG isn’t psychoactive and won’t get you high. However, it does have energizing and uplifting effects that many people compare to those of coffee.

CBG has been researched for pain, inflammation, anxiety, ADHD, and more.

Pain, of course, is what we all deal with as we age. Our CBD cream has got me through some particularly difficult times. I was looking for an even stronger pain reliever. And a bit faster absorption.

What is the difference between our CBD and this? We increased the percentage of cannabinoids (CBG) and we are using a faster absorbing base oil (Sacha Inchi). We maxxed out the amount we can get benefit from in the CBD, but this CBG seems to respond even better to higher percentages.

Why is absorption so important? The faster it gets to the source of pain, the better. Most CBD topical products on the market are very slow to absorb.

What is the difference between a balm and a moisturizer? Balms are made up of oils and waxes without any water. Moisturizers are made up of oils, waxes and water. Since our skin is mostly water, water-based products absorb quicker. Ointments and balms sit on the skin’s surface and stain your clothes. This is why we make this product in a moisturizer base.

Most CBD ointments on the market are balms. Why is this? Making a true moisturizer is a not something just anyone can do. CBD companies are not schooled in the art of making moisturizers. They’re more interested in selling you drops. Balms are easier to make. This is why mostly they sell drops you put under your tongue. Which we believe to be considerably less effective at getting to the source of the pain in a reasonable time. Even under your tongue, how does the CBD or CBG know where to go for the pain. This is why applying our product directly to the areas of pain makes more sense. I like it for my morning back pain.

We use a fast-absorbing oil in this product: Sacha Inchi Oil is cold pressed from the seeds of the star-shaped Plukenetia volubilis fruit, commonly called Mountain Peanuts or Inca Peanuts. Native women in the Peruvian Amazon rainforest have used this miracle oil for centuries in cosmetic applications as a skin humectant, protectant, emollient as well as in anti-aging applications as it restores the lipid layer in human skin.

Every oil has an absorption factor. We take this into account when we select ingredients for our products. Sacha Inchi oil is probably the fastest oil known.

INGREDIENTS (For those of you who read labels this is very important: We pride ourselves on the quality of our ingredients. Do you notice what’s missing that are found in almost all skin care products? Dimethicone, sulfates, long unpronounceable ingredients, artificial dyes & fragrances, and Phthalates. We don’t use them and consider them bad for our family’s skin and yours)

Active ingredients

Cannabigerol (CBG)

This product, of course, is more than just CBG

Herbs extracted in Reverse Osmosis Purified Water:

Arnica Montana (a plant) is a topical pain relief agent. Arnica preparations have shown wound healing, antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, and pain-relieving properties.

Arnica's actions may be due to two chemicals called helenalin and dihyrdohelenalin. These chemicals may modify the action of immune cells, kill bacteria, reduce the activity of chemicals and blood cells that cause inflammation, and kill cancer cells.

Boswellia serrata. Boswellia serrata extract is so powerful that today it’s considered comparable to NSAID pain relievers. Boswellia extract has been used safely and without complications for thousands of years. The chemical structure of boswellic acids closely resemble those of steroids.

Frankincense Essential Oil. This is another version of Boswellia Serarrata. With an even faster absorption rate. And the same benefits. Nice scent too!

Ginger Extracted into Sacha Inchi Oil. For people with arthritis, its anti-inflammatory properties are of particular benefit. Ginger contains anti-inflammatory compounds that function in the same way as COX-2 inhibitors. COX-2 inhibitors are drugs used to treat pain and inflammation.

Why do we extract Ginger into oil? Ginger does not extract into water. We use heat to get Ginger’s benefits extracted into the oil we use to make this product. It’s part of the art of making a skin care product. All these steps must be done in the correct order.

MSM: Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) is a naturally occurring compound in foods such as fresh vegetables, meat, and dairy products. MSM provides a source of natural sulfur. MSM may be beneficial for joint pain, skin inflammation, and other conditions.

Many of MSM’s benefits have links to its anti-inflammatory action. Inflammation is a factor in many health conditions, including arthritis, allergies, and skin conditions. By reducing inflammation, MSM may be able to reduce or eliminate certain symptoms.

Sacha Inchi Oil is used in high-end skincare formulations for its ability to clean, moisturize, and eliminate bacteria by deeply penetrating skin pores without clogging them. Its astringent and anti-inflammatory properties are known to facilitate the healing of wounds and burns by tightening the skin. It is also known for its antioxidant activity, which supports skin health, repairs damage caused by pollutants, and delays the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and discoloration.

Balance of ingredients:

We use Reverse Osmosis Purified Water. The gold standard for clean water.

Emulsifying Wax and Stearic Acid are vegetable waxes used to bind oils and water together at specific temperatures.

Vegetable derived Preservatives of : Germall Plus and Optiphen.
