Carley’s COPPER
PEPTIDE Serum
A total
of 4 peptides
For those
of us trying to hold off the years on our faces this might just be the holy
grail.
And also we have recently discovered this is a powerful solution for dark spots.
Why
another anti-aging product? Sometimes it is good to alternate. Each of us has
their own skin chemistry: one product might
work better for some and not others. Everything is guaranteed.
I’ve
found using the Bakuchiol Serum in the morning and this Serum before bedtime
works well for me. This is a very fast absorbing serum, so a moisturizer
afterwards is a good idea although not necessary for many. I've found I can use about 1/2 as much as the Bakuchiol Serum. 1 drop is all I use.
UPDATE: After a couple of weeks using one drop at night after my shower, what I've noticed is incredibly smooth skin and reduced droopy eyelids. I sometimes touch my face amazed at how smooth it is. What I didn't realize until recently, is the back story on Copper. Copper has a unique ability to kill bacteria and harmful viruses. For example: dangerous bacteria and viruses can live on most surfaces for up to 5 days. They cannot live on copper surfaces. We designed this serum to absorb very fast, and the copper works as a supplement too. Steve
UPDATE 2: Now about 4 weeks in I am noticing 2 brown spots I had on my face for years are now gone! My face is now the most even toned I can ever remember.
There are other Copper Peptide serums on the market. A
key thing to look for is how blue are they without using a colorant? This
is an area they often skimp on. We use a full 1% copper peptide. Ours is very blue. At $20 a
gram, that works out to over $9000 a pound, copper peptides are anything but
inexpensive. Some companies use colorants to hide the lack of this peptide. We
don’t. The deep blue you see is copper peptide. Most of the peptides we have reviewed are very watery. Which I would think would require you to use more and might have a hard time absorbing. Ours absorbs fast. It is easy to use. I only use one drop for my whole face and neck. I've tried using more but there doesn't seem to be an added benefit.
You won’t turn blue.
One fact we pride ourselves on is making products that
absorb quickly. This helps the active ingredients go deep where they can work
best.
So why use Copper Peptides?
It’s one of the hottest skin ingredients today. As we age our body loses Copper. These copper peptides help to restore Elastin and Collagen. Therefore making the skin more Elastic and youthful.
We also use three more peptides in this serum: (Not just
a few drops, we use the maximum recommended dosages for each)
2% Tripeptide- 29 is for Collagen. This ingredient has
been proven to trick the body into producing more collagen. Products with
collagen in them are pretty much useless. You would just be smearing animal
collagen on your skin. Yuk
4% Syn®-Ake is an anti-wrinkle active compound based on a
synthetic tripeptide that mimics the effect of Waglerin 1, a peptide that is
found in the venom of the Temple Viper, Tropidolaemus wagleri.
The Syn®-Ake peptide acts by reducing muscle cell
contraction, smoothing wrinkles in a short period. It is useful in anti-aging
products and wrinkle treatment products, especially those targeting expression
lines.
2% Reproage™ peptide helps produce more radiant skin by
brightening, promoting a smoother and less rough complexion, and reducing the
appearance of wrinkles by supporting cell reprogramming. Reproage™ peptide
is an ideal inclusion in facial products for rejuvenating and revitalizing.
As we age, the progenitor cells in the basal layer of our
skin slow down epidermal regeneration resulting in the signs of aging such as
wrinkles, roughness, and lack of smoothness. Reproage™ peptide helps reduce
those signs by modulating microRNA145 to promote epidermal self-renewal and
cell proliferation.
Balance of Ingredients:
Reverse Osmosis Purified Water. We only use the finest
highly purified water.
USP Vegetable Glycerin. Any company that says they
just use Glycerin, is likely using animal Glycerin. Which is considerably cheaper.
Trust me, you don’t want to know what parts of the animals it comes from. Why
USP? It is the sign of the highest quality.
Sachi Inchi Oil: Why do we use such an obscure South
American Oil? This oil is a nutritional powerhouse and has extremely small molecules.
Which means fast absorption. We want these peptides not sit on the skin’s
surface but absorb quickly.
3% Niacinimide: is a type of B-3 vitamin, that helps improve
the health and appearance of the skin.
Optiphen and Germall plus for preservation
Hyaluronic Acid: Drives massive amounts of moisture
into the skin. Of course, a lot of products use Hyaluronic Acid in their
ingredients. Most use the less expensive versions derived from wheat gluten. We
use a special version almost twice as expensive without Gluten. Many of our regular
customers suffer from this Gluten allergy.
Allantoin, also known as aluminum dihydroxy
allantoinate, is an extract from the comfrey plant, native to temperate
climates of Asia and Europe. According to Herrmann, it has potent healing and
soothing properties, and for centuries, comfrey leaves were used to help heal
minor skin injuries and swelling.
