Carley’s LION’S
MANE After Burn Care
For
Sunburns and Household Burns.
We did a small test batch over a year ago. But due to an oversight we never put it on the website. Lynette, had been asking for it (along with many others), I wanted to know why she liked it:
Yes! We love it! With 5 boys, we get burnt. I have used it on sunburns, rashes that burn and just today it saved my 3 year old who accidentally placed his hand on a hot stove. I used the rest of my jar on his little hand and it's just a little red, no blisters and no pain. The sunburns have not peeled with using this burn creme. My lips get a painful rash if I eat certain foods and the creme soothes and helps heal. I hope you bring it back! It's a must have in my mommy arsenal. Lynette
How does
it work? We put together
every ingredient we knew that would help burns heal.
Ingredients:
Lion’s
Mane Mushroom: If you’re looking for an all-natural way to improve your skin health, you
may want to consider lion’s mane mushroom. This potent fungi has been used for
centuries in Traditional Chinese Medicine for a variety of purposes, including
supporting skin health.
Lion’s
mane mushroom contains several compounds that are beneficial for the skin.
These include hericenones and erinacines, both of which have powerful
antioxidant capabilities. Antioxidants help to protect the skin from damage
caused by free radicals, which can lead to premature aging and other skin
problems.
In
addition, lion’s mane mushroom also contains beta-glucans. Beta-glucans are a
type of soluble fiber that can help to keep the skin hydrated and promote
collagen production. Collagen is a protein that is essential for skin health,
so increasing its production can help to keep the skin looking young and
healthy. ,
Blue German Chamomile Essential Oil
has natural would healing properties and helps get rid of burn blisters and
scars.
Tepezcohuite
extract, comes
from the bark of a tree that grows in southern Mexico. It has been used by Natives
to treat burns. And has been shown in lab studies to heal burns. We do the
extraction, so we know it is effective.
Fresh
Cut Aloe Vera:
It’s a lot of trouble to process fresh aloe vera leaves the way we do it.
Almost all skin care products that use Aloe use powdered freeze-dried Aloe. A
significantly lower quality ingredient.
Balance
of ingredients:
Reverse
Osmosis Water is the gold standard of water.
Sacha
Inchi Oil is
one of my favorite oils. It is fast absorbing and a nutritional powerhouse from
South America.
Cetyl
Alcohol and Emulsifying Wax are vegetable waxes used to bind the oil and water to
make a moisturizer.
Two preservatives:
Optiphen, Germall Plus,
Polyglutamic acid. polyglutamic acid has been found to hold up to 5,000 times its own weight
in water, four times that of hyaluronic acid, meaning the buzzy new ingredient
packs a major hydrating punch.
