Hello, Just wanted you to know that for 20 years I’ve had burning and redness on my feet, more in hot weather or after a hike, with some dry peeling skin. Not fun. It never totally goes away. Best guess has been a condition called Grierson Gopalan. I’ve tried every kind of cream and lotion. Anyway, a friend who used your eczema cream suggested I try it, and just as an experiment I did. I applied it morning and night for about a month. My foot (one is much more intense than the other) has cleared up. I’m amazed and appreciative and thought you might want to know. Best wishes, Cynthia Ingredients in order of prominence.
Reverse Osmosis Purified Water: When looking at other skin care products I always want to know how the water they use is purified(if at all). Is it filtered? How small a filter? Ozonated? Often the devil is in the details. We use only Reverse Osmosis purified water. Reverse Osmosis purified water is the gold standard for being clean and pure. So if we are talking microscopic differences why is it important? Reverse Osmosis water, we’ve found, works better than any other water to maximize the potential of the precious ingredients we use. It’s expensive, but we believe anything else is purely just cutting corners.
Ooolong Tea Infused Reverse Osmosis purified water: virtually all skin care products mention purified water. But the real deal is reverse osmosis purified water. This mean ZERO contaminants which means the starting point is pure. It’s expensive to do (goes through 5 filters, which have to be changed often), but it is the only water we use. We use the waste water from this purifying process to water our flowers and landscaping. So there is no waste.
Oolong Tea? (most people have never heard of it) There are more varieties of tea than anyone would ever guess. The variety we use: Da Hong Pao Big Red Robe Wuyi Mountain HIGH GRADE is a very important Wuyi Red tea. Legend has it that the mother of a Ming Dynasty emperor was cured of an illness by a certain tea, and that emperor sent great red robes to clothe the four bushes from which that tea originated. Three of these original bushes, growing on a rock on Mount Wuyi and reportedly dating to the Song Dynasty, still survive today and are highly venerated. At one point, less than one kilogram of tea was harvested from these plants each year, of which a portion was retained by the Chinese government. In 2005, the remainder of this original and real Da Hong Pao was saleed, with an initial asking price of 4000 RMB/100 g, but often reaching millions of dollars per kilogram. New growing techniques have brought down the prices. The one we use is still pricey, about $300 a pound. This variety has many benefits for healthy skin.
NEW: A decoction of 5 herbs: Arnica Montana, Mullein Flowers, Comfrey Roots, Comfrey Leaves, St. John’s Wort.
Arnica montana is one of the most beneficial substances available in nature’s pharmacopeia. It helps soothe the skin. And helps with healing.
Mullein Flowers, Comfrey Roots, Comfrey Leaves, St. John’s Wort. All have serious skin healing properties.
Black (Cumin) Seed Oil (Virgin grade). (Nigella sativa) Nigella Sativa is traditionally known in Middle Eastern countries as “Habbat al Barakah” – ‘The Blessed Seed’, due to it’s powerful healing qualities for many ailments. It’s healing benefits for Eczema are remarkable. This oil contains over 100 components, many of which still remain to be discovered. It is a rich source of unsaturated fatty acids and contains about 35% oil, 21% protein, and 38% carbohydrates. More than 50% of the oil are essential fatty acids. It’s linoleic acid and gamma linolenic acid content help form Prostaglandin E1, which helps the body to inhibit infections, balances the immune system, and regulates allergic reactions. Gamma-linolenic acid also helps stabilize the cell membrane. Black Seed also contains about .5-1.5% volatile oils including Nigellone and thymochinon which are responsible for Black Seed’s anti-histamine, anti-oxidant, anti-infective, and broncho-dialating effect.
Golden Jojoba Oil. (Simmondsia chinensis) Jojoba is also known as a wax ester. It closely mimics the oils in our skin. What it’s real purpose here is to help carry other ingredients deeper into your skin. Although this oil is sold by itself as a cure all, we tend to believe its best role is as a carrier oil.
Emulsifying wax: This is a vegetable wax that is used to combine the oils and water.
Calendula Infused Extra Virgin Olive Oil(Olea europaea): Of course Extra Virgin Olive oil is the good stuff. The first pressing is the most nutritious. Calendula (Calendula officinalis) is infused into the Olive Oil in a time consuming process. Calendula has a long history of use as a wound-healing and skin-soothing botanical. This lovely marigold-like flower (although called pot marigold, it is not a true marigold) is considered a vulnerary agent, a substance that promotes healing. Calendula also has anti-inflammatory and weak antimicrobial activity. It is most often used topically for lacerations, abrasions, and skin infections. It is great for Eczema. The petals and pollen contain triterpenoid esters (an anti-inflammatory) and the carotenoids flavoxanthinand auroxanthin (antioxidants, and the source of the yellow-orange coloration). The leaves and stems contain other carotenoids, mostly lutein (80%) and zeaxanthin (5%), and beta-carotene. Plant extracts are also widely used by cosmetics, presumably due to presence of compounds such as saponins, resins and essential oils.
Hyaluronic acid Serum: Hyaluronic Acid drives massive amounts of moisture into the skin. It is a special protein occurring naturally throughout the human body, and is one of the most heavily researched substances in medicine today with thousands of clinical trials mostly in the fields of orthopedics and eye surgery. Its function in the body is, among other things, to bind water and to lubricate movable parts of the body, such as joints and muscles. Its consistency and tissue-friendliness makes it an excellent moisturizer, which is why it has earned a place in skin-care products and cosmetics. Hyaluronic acid is one of the most hydrophilic molecules in nature and as such it is aptly described as “nature’s moisturizer”. Hyaluronic acid is created by a food grade yeast fermentation process from non-GMO sugarcane and/or grains and as such can be labeled vegetarian (or vegan) since no animal products have been used in the entire process as raw materials.
Stearic acid: is not an acid, but another type of vegetable wax. Adds creaminess.
Oatmeal powder. Finely ground. It has remarkable healing and soothing benefits for Eczema.
Germall Plus (a vegetable derived preservative to keep our product fresh)
Lavender essential oil: A small amount to even out the smell. Almost imperceptible.
pH neutral
No animal ingredients or testing EVER!
Why do we use so many oils? Oils are natures little powerhouses of nutrition. Each different oil contains many unique nutrients. They are a true bounty of nutritious ingredients. Nature designed the nutrients in seeds to keep a new baby plant alive until it can get it’s old enough to get its nutrients from the soil. It is important to the mother plant to carry on it’s DNA to the next generation. When seeds are squeezed oils come out. These oils are the essence of the mothers desire to keep her babies alive. Natures milk. Each plant species has it’s own unique oil profile within those seeds. Our bodies can draw great benefits from the oils from these seeds. This is why we refer to oil free products as a chemical soup. They carry no nutritional benefit.
The way we make moisturizers is an old world process married to high tech measurements and techniques. Most moisturizers today combine oils and water using thickeners (such as Xanthan and Algin). We refuse to take this shortcut. Although Xanthan is a safe vegetable derived ingredient, Algin suffers from many unknown ingredients. Algin is another word for seaweed. It is harvested from the sea by throwing long ropes out into the ocean and allowing seaweeds to grow on them. Then they pull in these ropes and cure the seaweed with sulfur and dry it to a powder. Along with other pollutants in the ocean, sulfur is an ingredient many people with skin issues are allergic to. None of our products contain Algin (or sulfur).
So why is our method better? A true moisturizer combines oils and water perfectly so your skin can receive all the valuable benefits from the oils. If you’ve ever poured oil into water you know oil floats on top. No matter what you do it will float on top. We use an old world recipe and high tech specific temperatures and techniques to combine oils and water using Emulsifying wax and Stearic acid (also a vegetable wax) at a specific time. This process using vegetable waxes marries the oils and the water. Our skin is primarily water. When you apply oils to your skin it really cannot be absorbed. This process allows your skin to access the valuable nutrients in the oils we use. Much better than any thickened oil or oil free product.
We are the manufacturer and there are no middle men. In fact, we get asked daily to wholesale our products. We don’t because we want everything made to be shipped fresh to you. Middle men mean price mark ups (the price doubles every time it changes hands) and time delays. Most skin care products you buy to use today, were made in large factories years ago and have been in storage. Everything we ship was made in small batches just a few weeks ago. Fresh matters! Quality ingredients matter!
Now after reviewing our ingredients. I want you to look at the ingredients for a moisturizer that costs over a $100 an ounce. How many can you pronounce? Keep in mind the water they use is not even listed as purified. They might be even using tap water (OMG!). Ingredients: Water(aqua), sorbitan sesquioleate, stearyl heptanoate, decyl oleate, cetearyl octanoate, caprylic/capric glycerides, propylene glycol, dimethicone, rose hip (rosa canina) oil, hydrolyzed elastin, hydrolyzed collagen, retinyl palmitate, tocopheryl acetate, magnesium ascorbyl phosphate, magnesium sulfate, methylparaben, flavour (aroma), propylparaben, bht, edta, sodium saccharin.
There are very few ingredients here we would consider using in our products. We do use rose hip oil in one of our products but a much higher virgin grade.

Best if used within one year of receipt. I’ll bet no skin care product you have bought from a store was made within the last year. Most of the products on store shelves, were made years ago. We find we can better control our quality if we make products as they are used. Fresh just makes for better skin care products. Our families all use our products. We only sell what we would use.
pH neutral: And why is this important? Although we use ingredients that have an acid pH, the finished moisturizer is pH neutral, like all of our moisturizers. We believe the skin is actually stressed by acids. Virtually all moisturizers on the market are acid. We wondered why? If acids are so good for the skin as these products claim, why does it feel so good to take a swim in the ocean? Ocean water pH is very much the opposite of acid. Slightly alkaline. Why is it recommended to keep swimming pool water slightly alkaline? There is a whole line of thinking now that promotes alkalines. We believe the skin and all of nature loves alkaline and hates acids. If the ocean were to all of a sudden become slightly acid, mostly it would be a dead body of water. Forget this nonsense of the ‘acid mantle’. Our bodies when healthy, are pH neutral to slightly alkaline.
No animal testing EVER!

Most of our ingredients are as close to natural as possible. We avoid overly processed ingredients. Processing means heat and that destroys the goodness in these precious ingredients we use.
